Cut and hand-polished in our lapidary workshop, these stichtite spheres showcase the mineral's natural beauty. Sizes vary between 2.5cm and 13cm, depending on the rough material available. Large spheres are rare as it is unusual to find rough material in large sizes. Sourced from the mountainous Kaapsehoop region in South Africa's Mpumalanga province, each sphere is individually shaped and polished to reveal the characteristic pink to purple coloration within the serpentine matrix. Originally discovered in Tasmania and also known as Atlantisite, stichtite remains a rare mineral found at only a handful of localities worldwide.
