1. Why isn’t shipping calculated at checkout?

Elemental Minerals supplies traders and retailers — and wholesale shipping does not fit into automated checkout systems.

Orders vary widely in weight, volume, and destination, and each shipping method has its own rules and rate structure. To ensure you receive the most accurate and cost-effective option, shipping is quoted manually after your order is placed.

DHL Express (small or urgent consignments)
Lighter orders are shipped via DHL Express. For shipments over 50 kg, DHL offers a heavyweight spot rate. These rates must be requested directly from DHL, change according to fuel and market conditions, and are valid for 7 days only.

Because of these fluctuations, DHL rates are not pre-set at checkout.

Airfreight (larger wholesale orders)
For larger consignments, we offer palleted airfreight. Quotes are requested manually and can be arranged either to your nearest international airport or delivered to your door, depending on your preference.

Seafreight (bulk and container-based orders)
For the largest orders, seafreight provides the best value. Rates are obtained on request and can be shipped to your nearest sea port or delivered to your door where available.

In short: wholesale shipping is not one-size-fits-all. We quote manually to ensure you always receive the fairest, most precise rate.
